Beyond Interactive merges with MediaCom

The merged company will offer a global interactive media network, which will operate under the Beyond Interactive brand.
Alec Gerster, MediaCom CEO, said: “The convergence of these skill sets is inevitable and the formation of this new division will enhance our ability to plan, execute, and optimise media across all digital and non-digital platforms as well as across borders. This is exactly what the marketplace is looking for today.”
The company was not able to confirm what impact the merger will have on Beyond Interactive's UK office, which employs more than 40 staff.
