Northstream and Vodafone to test GPRS

The new product is the Northstream Wireless Login, which is said to allow users to access their company's LAN on GPRS and 3G networks. Vodafone will initially offer the product to corporate clients as a part of GPRS trials, and may offer it commercially when the company's GPRS network is launched.

The system will also be tested by SmarTone in Hong Kong on its GPRS network.
