Marketing agency merges with radio experts

Market Tiers 4DC will house both above and below the line departments and will offering a range of services, including strategic consultancy, advertising, sponsorship and promotions services, radio and online tours, outside broadcasts and webcasts.

Russell Goldsmith, director of 4DC and now new media director at Market Tiers 4DC, said: “This move was a natural progression of where the company and the industry is going. The mechanics of radio and online are the same, [they are] just different platforms, so it made sense for us to share our knowledge, resources and database".

“Our view is that the convergence of media is happening anyway across all platforms. We were both producing marketing information to sell to media owners, so merging together gives us more power”.

Market Tiers 4DC has also established a television production arm which will create content that can be used for both TV and the web.

Clients are increasingly demanding that agencies can offer cross platform ad solutions and Goldsmith claims that this ability will enable Market Tiers 4DC to establish itself as an expert in this field.

He said: “No other agencies seem to be looking at the opportunities to produce cross media promotions and our USP is that we can offer these altogether. We can get a brand in and tailor the campaign for the client, whatever their budget.”

Market Tiers 4DC's clients include Travelocity.co.uk, NetMortgage.co.uk, Flutter.com, the Online Travel Company, Nikelodeon, BT Genie Internet and Trebor Bassett.
