QXL buys live auction facilitator

QXL will pay a total of up to 2.8m, handing over 130,780 in shares and up to 1.4m in cash to take 100% of the company. Since the start of trading today QXL's share price had dwindled by 9% to 990p.
QXL.fr, QXL's French subsidiary, hosted a live auction using Idefi software last week. Former Idefi shareholders Fabien Bourdier and Marc Ruff will join QXL.com from the Idefi board.
