Scandinavia leads e-comm boom

The survey found that corporate sales made on the internet doubled this year, up from 2 to 4% of all corporate sales. Scandinavia took the lead with 9% of sales online followed by the UK, where 6% of sales were made online.
KPMG predicts that by 2003, 14% of all transactions will be made on the internet.
Scandinavian companies are particularly optimistic about the future of
e-commerce and believe that by 2002, 25% of all sales will be made online. Meanwhile Germans are sceptical and forecast only 12% of sales online by this date.
