Stockholm most 'wired' capital

Online banking and financial services in Sweden are among the most advanced in the world, and with an extensive fibre network reaching every area of the city, Stockholm is also recognised as the most advanced mobile Internet market.
Per Hakansson, a researcher in the Stockholm School of Economics, says that Sweden could show the future of international ecommerce.
"Technologically, we meet all the requirements for a mature, sophisticated marketplace and there is little of the nationalistic consumer behaviour seen in most other markets.", he commented.
"The business community is internationalised and adaptive to novelties, as is the private consumer."
