Twitter has made a series of updates to its micro-blogging site, including a new feature that makes hashtags clickable.
Hashtags are used in Twiitter as a way of grouping related ‘Tweets’ together. Users have to voluntarily add them to their ‘Tweets’ Users have to voluntarily add them to their updates.
Hashtags now appear on Twitter as links that are displayed in a different color. They can be clicked to automatically do a search for the given hashtag.
Before the new feature, users had to copy and paste it hashtags, or retype them in the search box.
