TNT Publishing, the weekly magazine group aimed at the UK based Antipodean and South African communities, has teamed up with Oodle.
The deal will see TNT aim to enhance the volume of property classifieds on its web site www.tntonline.co.uk.
TNT Magazine, a pioneer of the free newspaper distribution model, was launched in 1983 to target Australians, New Zealanders and South Africans living and working in the UK.
When users search for properties to share, rent or buy, they not only get results from TNT’s existing advertisers, they also receive results from Oodles search index of over 420,000 Properties to Let.
Jim Murray Jones CEO of TNT Magazine commented: "TNT has especially high brand recognition amongst Australians, New Zealanders and South Africans heading to the UK. Historically known as the bible for independent travelers it is a valued resource for readers looking to find work and somewhere to live during their stay. By partnering with Oodle, we can offer our users significantly improved search results as well as free advertising opportunities to property and listings agencies.
“The timing of the launch is perfect, coinciding with an expected uplift in new visitors, following changes that see one-year working holiday visas for Australians and New Zealanders replaced by two-year working visas".
“We are thrilled to have been selected by TNT Classifieds,” said Duncan Dunlop, General Manager Oodle UK. “We look forward to working with TNT to extend their vision for a classifieds’ marketplace that specifically meets the needs of the Antipodean and South African communities.”
