Digital marketing company 24/7 Real Media has struck an exclusive partnership to sell and place all digital advertisements on the GiENT entertainment network.

24/7 Real Media will employ a number of targeting capabilities, including behavioural targeting and re-targeting, enabling the GiENT Network to monetise their sites more effectively.

GiENT’s Web properties include Gigwise.com, a leading online music magazine, and Entertainmentwise.com, which delivers celebrity news, gossip and film reviews.

The network offers an extensive reach with around one million unique users and 8.5 million page impressions per month. Its audience is media-savvy with a high interest in fashion, travel and leisure, celebrity gossip, film, TV and music news.

“Advertising plays a major role in our business model, and in the current climate it is important for GiENT to be working alongside a reputable sales team renowned for innovative ideas and achieving goals,” said Simon Perlaki, Partner, GiENT Entertainment Network. “We are delighted to be working with 24/7 Real Media, who has demonstrated they are in a prime position to exceed our expectations.”

GiENT had been seeking a partner that could add significant value to its inventory, and selected 24/7 Real Media primarily for its distinction in audience segmentation and targeting capabilities. Open AdStream, 24/7 Real Media’s award-winning ad serving and campaign management platform, combines the powerful business intelligence of Web analytics and behavioural targeting with a world-class management platform.

“This exclusive partnership with GiENT entertainment network will provide our premier advertiser base with the ability to reach an extensive audience of entertainment enthusiasts,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, Managing Director of Media UK. “We will utilise our exceptional targeting capabilities to deliver the most effective campaigns on GiENT’s network, generating maximum revenue for their advertising inventory.”
