Netimperative Recruitment Roundtable: The ‘Daffy Duck’ Syndrome!

When:
Apr 02, 2008 from 16:00 to 18:00

Date: Wednesday April 2nd 2008

Timings: 3pm to 5pm

Venue: Aquent Offices, 271 Regent Street, London W1B 2ES

Speaker: Steve Hutson, European Manager for New Media, Aquent

Moderator: Davina Lines, Managing Director, Netimperative

Topic: Managing skilled (but temperamental) employees. How do we perceive Daffy Duck? He is funny, intelligent, creative, possessive, arrogant and has tendency to shout “mine, mine, mine”, but we all adore him and he is important to us, so how do we cope with these kind of individuals in our work lives?

Do you have a 'Daffy Duck' in your workplace? You know that they are great for your business goals overall, but wish that they would work better with colleagues.

This difficult scenario could cause resentment among your team, as they think that 'Daffy Duck' is being cared for better than themselves. This can ultimately drop production levels and your profitability.

This roundtable will allow you to discuss and come up with techniques on how to cope and deal with these highly skilled but dramatic colleagues, so that the teams around them learn their fantastic skills and grow too, resulting in better productivity and profitability to your business.

You should attend this roundtable debate if you have any 'Daffy Ducks' working within your business, and if you wish to discuss other recruitment and skills shortage issues.
