Meet Geoff:
London, UK – March xx, 2009 - Microsoft has today announced the appointment of Geoff Sutton as the new General Manager for the company’s MSN International Media Group. Responsible for all MSN markets outside of the US, Geoff’s role will focus on content and programming strategy and execution for MSN’s 45 portal sites around the world. He will be based in London.
With consumer and partner engagement remaining a key business priority, Geoff’s brief is centred on a number of key areas which include building the MSN video portfolio, establishing and sustaining strategic partnerships in this space and monetisation of the brand.
Geoff takes on this role after 3 ½ years as General Manager and Regional Executive Producer for MSN in Europe, Middle East and Africa, where he was directly responsible for managing a radical overhaul of the portal business and, through this, driving sustained audience and revenue growth. Prior to this he was Regional Manager for Europe and Director of MSN UK.
