Nov 17, 2007 from 12:51 to 12:51

Venue: Café de Paris, Piccadilly, London, W1

Time: 7.30pm – 3am

Deadline for entries: January 29th 2005

The Imperatives will truly celebrate the progressiveness of the UK interactive sector and will be awarded to those who show true innovation not the biggest budget. A new cooler, funkier event that is more in touch with its industry and people.

The event is based around the industry as a whole, getting the industry itself involved with the judging and voting process, making it more accessible to all by keeping entry and tickets costs at lower levels than usual and by making the evening itself more of a celebration than a chore.

The awards themselves will be more generic and fewer in number than other awards events, so more time to celebrate the winners and the industry we work in.

We will task a judging panel of experts to identify a shortlist in each category and will then hand over to the industry to vote for the actual winners. This should avoid the usual complaints of ‘Who the hell are they?’ or ‘Why did they win?

The event is being run in a nightclub rather than a hotel with DJs, table entertainment, plenty of canapés and platters, and free drink until the early hours.
