Speaker: Nicole Yershon, Director, Innovative Solutions, Ogilvy Advertising, London
Nicole started her career in advertising 23 years ago within Creative Services across 2 of london's most traditional and highly creative agencies, GGT and Simons Palmer. 8 years ago Ogilvy London's Chairman gave her the brief to 'bring Ogilvy into the 21st century' - taking them from analogue to digital by working with programmers and implementing Finance, Workflow and Digital Asset Management systems.Over the last 4 years Nicole has built up Ogilvy's digital hub called Domain. Which covers all broadcast and video editing, on and off line (2 avid suites, final cut pro, after effects suite and a flame). It includes digital broadcast global delivery.3 years ago her focus shifted to 'new media' covering an understanding of all platforms (iptv, social networking, mobile, search, gaming, digital out of home and posters.....) combining this with 360 marketing elements (Traditional advertising, PR, direct mail, interactive etc) ogilvy now regularly produces non traditional advertising, from long form content, flooding Second Life, live web casting with pop group 'girls aloud', live streaming, podcasting and digital escalator panels to name but a few.Nicole and her team have recently launched for Ogilvy One a Digital Innovations Lab' to spot talent early and bring innovative ideas to market for our Brands. This is an extremely exciting time and not for the faint hearted that don't like change......
